Basic Fusing

 

Learn to create beautiful fused glass osmall platebjects in this fun and active workshop! You will experience a wealth of techniques on the basics of cutting glass, firing and annealing schedules, kiln operation and design issues. Best of all, you will also take home three projects; a beautiful candle holder, and two 8" tiles or plates. All materials and tools will be supplied. Space is limited so call or sign up soon to reserve a seat at the studio workbench.

Now, by popular demand, a full day of screen printing on glass. This is a workshop for those of you who want to make multiples. We will start with the image preparation, screen preparation, image exposure and wash out. Then we will cover printing techniques and firing schedules. All materials will be provided as well as complete and comprehensive handout material. You will also have the option to purchase the screen that you printed with for an additional, but nominal fee. There will be a lot of information coming at you in this workshop. If you have Adobe Photoshop or another photo editing software on your laptop you'll want to bring it with you.
